Some conversations are easy, "what’s for dinner?" "how was your day?" But some feel a little more daunting. Talking to your kids about alcohol? That’s one of those conversations. Parents Empowered knew that while parents are the biggest influence on their kids' decisions about drinking, many struggle with how to start the conversation. They needed a video that made this crucial talk feel less intimidating and more doable.
Preventing underage drinking starts with parents, and Parents Empowered needed a compelling way to show just how crucial these conversations are. Our goal was to create a video that not only informed but also empowered parents with the tools to make a real difference.
To keep the message engaging and relatable, we crafted a narrative that highlighted everyday parent-child interactions. The video balanced emotional connection with practical guidance, ensuring parents felt both motivated and equipped to start these crucial conversations.
Using a hybrid animation approach, we blended multiple styles to create a dynamic and engaging experience. The visuals reinforced key takeaways while maintaining an approachable, relatable feel that resonated with parents.
We fine-tuned pacing, visual clarity, and messaging to ensure maximum impact. Every detail was designed to make the information easy to digest and the call to action unmistakable: Talk to your kids. They’re listening.
The final video became a powerful tool in the Parents Empowered campaign, helping parents feel confident in discussing alcohol prevention. By combining strong storytelling with engaging animation, we made it clear—these conversations can change lives.
